# Product

In the 1/1 art space, there is a lack of quality projects, products, and tools that helps creators further their discoverability potential whilst enabling collectors to interact with the buying and selling of artwork in a social and immersive manner.

The Dragons plans to solve this by building a WebGL/GPU based virtual p2p platform that turns auctions hosted by creators into spectacles and events. We believe solving these core issues around current p2p platforms will increase value creation between parties (collectors and creators).

## Platform

#### What is Gallery3?

Gallery3 is designed to showcase and auction digital art virtually. It is not simply just another tool to show artwork online, but a unique and interactive escrow platform that expands the reach for both creators and collectors. A platform built by artists, used by artists and owned by artists.

Our galleries feature set will involve:

* Escrow - Currently the space supports what we call “single dimensional” auctions.
* Multiplayer - Users can connect, view the event and then place real-time bids.
* Interactivity - Users can view and immerse themselves with different artworks from a 1st person perspective.

## Visuals

Web3 virtual spaces currently fail at balancing the practical with the whimsical. For products, experience is key in a world of clunkiness. Using Unity as an intermediary gives us the option to be more performance-based compared to many other VR spaces which solely use WebGL. WebGL is basically the feature set of OpenGL ES 3.0, i.e. "mobile graphics around the year 2014".\
\
However, not all of the limitations WebGL imposes can be fixed via Unity, as such we will be using what we call "2.5D" for the visual direction of our platform. Implementing this style rather than baked 3D textures helps us improve spec performance and no need to create fancy performant-driven render solutions. In our opinion, it is also much more visually pleasing.

## Sustainability

A marketplace is made up of buyers and sellers, to ensure the sustainability of the platform, it is imperative that demand meets supply. We aim to achieve this by implementing what we call the "Infinite Gallery". If you've ever played Minecraft you would know their world generator renders "blocks" of content as you walk. We're creating something similar in the sense that as you walk through the Gallery, live auctions will pop up for you to interact with. As you interact with more pieces the gallery will be curated to your tastes; recommending artwork that is right down your alley!

For us, we understand the importance of self-sustaining monetization frameworks to ensure the longevity of the project beyond mint. As such, there will be a 3% market fee on platform volume.\
\
Here are some other pointers that will ensure project sustainability:

* Leveraging our platform to promote underground artists.
* An affiliate / referral system.
* Providing the ability for anyone to leverage their brand via hosting auctions in collaboration with artists, and thus receiving a royalty.
